During a low-scoring contest this weekend, the Denver Broncos managed to secure a 13-11 win over the winless New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix threw an early scoring strike and specialist Wil Lutz provided the game-winning decisive three-pointer to secure the ugly win.

Defensive Display Wins Contest

Even with registering nine sacks versus Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 following giving up a two-point play in the second half. Remarkably, the Jets could only produce just 82 offensive yards throughout the entire game.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard drive that culminated in Lutz's short field goal with approximately five minutes left.

Record Difficulties for Jets Offense

Despite their dismal offensive display, the Jets maintained possession with a opportunity to score a possible victory. But Fields was tackled on fourth-and-eight from the Denver 44 after head coach Aaron Glenn opted to attempt the conversion instead of sending out specialist Nick Folk for a long kick.
